GUIDED TOURS ORGANIZED FOR THE ENJOYMENT OF WAIMH COMMUNITY

 

PARTICIPANTS AND ACCOMPANYING PERSONS

For the convenience and enjoyment of WAIMH participants and accompanying persons, WHAIM2017 Organising Secretariat will offer the possibility to but tickets for the visit to the Forum on either SUN 27 or MON 28 at 21:00 (duration 40 minutes) during the registration process.

EVENING TOUR Journey through Ancient Rome: the Forum of Augustus A thrilling representation which combines historical and scientific rigor with entertainment within the Forum, focused on the figure of Augustus.Seated in the Forum with headphones viewers will watch amazing videos and reconstructions that show places as they looked like at the time of Augustus, will enjoy music, special effects and the story narrated in their own language (Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish). See video >>  Note: NO transportation will be provided. ACCOMPANYING PERSONS

Accompanying opersons are entitled to take part in the bespoken sightseeing tour  indicated here below.
The tour can be joined by participants too, paying teh relevant fee.
The two other tours were cancelled due to lack of participation.

Booking instructions
The number of participants for each tour is limited and early booking is advisable. Tour reservations will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis.

To book a tour, please read the description, consider the tour schedule and cost, and complete the relevant section of the on-line registration form. In the event that you have already registered you can log-in to the registration website again and add your tour requests.

Note: The organizers reserve the right to modify the tour programme if necessary or reasons not depending on WAIMH and to cancel tours accounting for less than 25 participants without liability other than refunding the cost. During tours, the organisers will not accept responsibility for personal injury, loss or damage to private, personal property of participants.

Differently abled persons are kindly requested to write to registration@waimh2018.org before booking their tours.

 

Payment

Tour reservations must be accompanied by payment of tour fees.

Payment by credit card:
For payment by credit card, participants are requested to enter their credit card details in the online registration form.

Payment by bank transfer
When paying by bank transfer, please send by email a copy of the bank transfer remittance to the EGA Organizing Secretariat within five working days. Otherwise, your tour reservations will not be processed.

Note: Please indicate clearly in the bank transfer the surname of the tour participant in the bank transfer description. Please note that tour reservations will not be valid until full payment has been received.

 

TOURS CANCELLATION POLICY

All tours cancellations must be put in writing to the EGA Organizing Secretariat at  registration@waimh2018.org and  are subject to the following policy:

• By February 28, 2018: full refund
  After February 28, 2018: no refund.

Refunds will be settled following the conclusion of WAIMH2018..
